MEDALLION NOTE: Due to the sharp rise of silver costs, the retail price of our one-half troy ounce medallions has risen to $85 for most of our designs. The Datsolalee commemorative medallion has increased to $90. ($5 per sale goes to the Washoe Tribe of Nevada and California.)
The 1870 Liberty Seated replica half-dollar commemorative medallion is SOLD OUT. We’ve reached 3,000 pressings and the die is now retired. The Nevada State Museum will soon mint the next in the Liberty Seated series, the 1871 replica half-dollar. Release date to be determined.
In addition, we have started a new series of the U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree commemorative medallion for 2026! This new series will neither be individually numbered, nor a limited edition. It also will not be minted on Nevada native silver. But, the medallion will still be minted with one-half troy ounce of .999 fine silver and feature the CC mint mark on the reverse.
All of our commemorative medallions are minted on historic 158-year-old Coin Press No. 1, the only working artifact of its kind and from its era still in operation today.
