El Dia De Los Muertos 2023
November 4 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

Celebrate the Nevada State Museum’s biggest cultural event of the year on Saturday, November 4, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with campus-wide entertainment and activities.
El Dia De Los Muertos, which translates to “The Day of the Dead,” is a traditional Mexican festival that remembers loved ones who have passed on with music, dancing, feasting, storytelling and offerings to departed spirits! The celebration, which can sometimes last days, combines elements of Spanish Catholicism introduced in the 16th Century with customs of the ancient Aztec civilization.
Admission to the Museum is free all-day Saturday in honor of El Dia De Los Muertos. Enjoy storytelling through folk dance and music, ofrendas, arts and crafts, face painting, street food and treats.
