The Nevada State Museum in Carson City offers a distinctive location for your special event. Museum facilities are available for use five days a week, Tuesday through Saturday, except Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day.

Available 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday
Maximum capacity: 47 people
Maximum 40 folding chairs or 6 eight-foot tables
Food and beverages restricted to the Auditorium

South Gallery
$50.00 per hour
Available Tuesday 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Wednesday through Saturday 4:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. with limited daytime use
Maximum capacity: 120 people
Maximum 90 folding chairs or 14 eight-foot tables
Food and beverages restricted and subject to approval

Loftin Park
$50.00 per hour
Available 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday
Maximum capacity: 100 people
Tables, chairs, and equipment restricted to designated areas
Food and beverages not allowed in museum
Restrooms available at the north end of the Dema Guinn Concourse
The museum or facility users cannot control use of the park by citizens not affiliated with the event

Dema Guinn Concourse
$100.00 per hour
Available Tuesday 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Wednesday through Saturday 4:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. with limited daytime use
Maximum capacity: 113 people
Food and beverages restricted to the concourse

Dema Guinn Concourse and Auditorium
$150.00 per hour

Includes use of the concourse, main building, north building, and Loftin Park

Food and beverages restricted to the concourse, auditorium, and Loftin Park

ADDITIONAL FEES
Security Fee: $35.00 per hour
(Required for evening use, 4:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
May apply to daytime use depending on facility and size and nature of event.)
Refundable Deposit: $200.00

Additional Information

  • Regular admission fees not charged in addition to use fees
  • Length of time includes set up, the event, and take down
  • Times are rounded to the nearest one half hour
  • Payment due within thirty days of invoice
