On Friday, October 30th the museum will be open for a demonstration of Coin Press No. 1. This is also the release of a new medallion commemorating the service and sacrifice of Nevada’s health care workers during the pandemic. Event participants may purchase up to two (2) .999 fine silver planchets at $100 apiece and watch them be minted into “Nevada Healthcare Heroes” medallions on Coin Press No. 1. Credit or debit card sales only. A portion of the proceeds from each medallion sale is being donated to a relief fund for health care workers. All COVID-19 mitigation protocols will be followed during the event. Family/friend groups are limited to 4 persons.
