Description

Help us celebrate the Sesquicentennial of the Carson City Mint with a lecture and special demonstration of the historic Coin Press No. 1. Chirs DeWitt, Chief Mechanical Officer, Nevada State Railroad Museum, will be speaking at 11:00 am. His talk discusses the steam engine and the machinery that made the Mint run. At 12:00 pm we will start pressing the Merci Train medallion.

Admission is $8 for adults, children age 17 and under and museum members are free.
