Description

Help us celebrate the Sesquicentennial of the Carson City Mint with a lecture and special demonstration of the historic Coin Press No. 1. Dr. Gene Hattori, Curator of Anthropology at the Nevada State Museum, will be speaking at 11:00 am. His talk discusses the artifacts found on the Carson City Mint grounds when the connecting structure was built. At 12:00 pm we will start pressing the Abe Curry medallion.

Admission is $8 for adults, children age 17 and under and museum members are free.
