Nevada State Museum presents Lei Day Saturday April 28th from 10:00 am-1:00 pm. In Hawaii, “May Day is Lei Day” and we are sharing this tradition with the northern Nevada Community with a lei making demonstration, hands on activities for kids, live Hawaiian music, and hula dancers. Dress in your finest Aloha wear and join us! Live performances by Ka Pa Hula O Kawaiolanoelaniokane and Matasina Polynesian Review. We have partnered with Carson City Culture & Tourism Authority and Carson City Cultural Commission to bring this event to you. Admission to the museum will be free for this event.
