Description

On Saturday, April 24th we welcome the Reno Coin Club to celebrate National Coin Week’s Money, Big & Bold commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Morgan and Peace dollars and the 50th anniversary of the Eisenhower dollar. The Reno Coin Club display will be open free to the public. This event includes giveaways and coins available for purchase.

On the same day we will be running demonstrations on historic Coin Press No. 1 from 11:00am-3:00pm. The medallions are half ounce, .999 fine silver and cost $75. All medallions are struck on Coin Press No. 1 and bear the CC mintmark.

Museum admission is required to watch coin press demonstrations. Admission is $8 for adults and free for members and children age 17 and younger.
