Description
If you want to learn more about Nevada history and share your enthusiasm for history with others this training is for you. Tour Guides at the Nevada State Museum learn about Nevada’s unique natural and cultural history and lead tours of the museum and the Capitol building. The Fall New Tour Guide Training will include in depth presentations about the museum and its exhibits and insights into the best way to give a tour. Training will be Monday, Sept. 10th, Tuesday, Sept. 11th, Monday, Sept. 17th and Tuesday, Sept. 18th. from 9:00 am-4:00 pm each day. To register and receive new volunteer paper work contact the Nevada State Museum Education Department at (775)687-4810 ext 237 or nsmeducation@nevadaculture.org.
