Description
Curator’s Corner is a monthly series that will feature a museum artifact or group of artifacts. Since 1941, the museum has collected and interpreted objects related to Nevada’s unique heritage, including historical, cultural, anthropological and natural history artifacts. Curator’s Corner will be offered from 1 to 3 p.m. on the first and third Wednesday of each month. The program on the third Wednesday will be an encore performance of the program on the first Wednesday. Visitors passing through the museum’s demonstration gallery will be able to enjoy a brief presentation by the curator as he or she exhibits an artifact or group of artifacts.
On April 21st Museum Director, Myron Freedman will be present the building of the Nevada State Capitol Building using original drawings by the architect.
Admission is $8 for adults; members and children age 17 and under are free.
