Description
The Nevada State Museum joins Western Nevada College each year to offer this extraordinary cultural event free to everyone. This year our event will be spread out over two weeks so that everyone can participate safely. Eight Altars will be created by school and community groups and presented at the Nevada State Museum starting Wednesday, Oct 28th. The Altars will remain on display through November 7th. There will also be a museum sponsored community altar created so that members of the community can participate in remembering departed loved ones.
The altar exhibition will be free to the public from Oct 28th-Nov 7th during regular museum hours.
