Description
The nineteenth-century Morgan & Orr coin press is the only one of its kind in existence that is still operational in its original location (the Nevada State Museum is housed in the former U.S. Mint in Carson City). Each Saturday from 11 AM to 3 PM, volunteers power up Coin Press #1 for visitors to witness history in motion.
Museum admission is required to view demonstration. Admission is $10 for adults and free for members and children age 17 and under. Masks and social distancing is required inside the museum
