Blank silver planchets can be purchased in the museum store so you can watch your medallion being pressed right in front of you.
The Reno Coin Club will have coin displays in the Dema Guinn Concourse. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon Landing they will be featuring space exploration related coins including the 2019 U.S. Mint Commemorative Coin for the Apollo 11 anniversary.
Admission is $8 for adults and free for members and children age 17 and under.
