Description

Curator’s Corner is a bi-weekly series that will feature a museum object or group of objects. Since 1941, the museum has collected and interpreted objects related to Nevada’s unique heritage, including historical, cultural, anthropological and natural history objects. Curator’s Corner will be offered from 1 to 3 p.m. on the first and third Wednesday of each month. Visitors passing through the museum’s demonstration gallery will be able to enjoy a brief presentation by the curator as he or she exhibits the object or group of objects.

On Jan 6th Curator in Anthropology, Anna Camp, Ph.D. will be presenting LK No. 2, the earliest work of Datsolalee in the Nevada State Museum ethnographic basketry collection.

Admission is $8 for adults; members and children age 17 and under are free.
