In conjunction with the Western Nevada College Jack C. Davis Observatory, the Carson City Library, and the Carson City Classic Cinema Club we will be presenting a variety of hands on and multimedia opportunities for youth of all ages. In our parking lot we will have solar telescopes, an impact crater experience, a seltzer rocket demonstrations, balloon powered rocket car building and testing, and an augmented reality experience focused on planets, asteroids, the Moon and more.

In our South Gallery we will be screening the documentary directed by Todd Miller “Apollo 11 (2019).” The screenings will be at 10:00 am, 12:00 pm, and 2:00 pm.

Outdoor activities are free. Admission to the museum is required to watch the Apollo 11 Documentary. Admission is $8 for adults and free for members and children age 17 and under.
